together with other local practices to offer more appointments in the early
mornings, evenings and at weekends - appointments will either take place at this
practice or at a nearby GP practice.
GP plus a limited range of other appointment types can be booked online or alternatively appointments to
see a doctor or one of the nursing team can be arranged by visiting the surgery or by telephoning
|We routinely offer a telephone triage service.
In this way we are able to ensure that clinically urgent problems are
prioritised and offer telephone advice and medications for many non-urgent
problems. Urgent problems will be seen within 24 hours. Please be
aware that receptionists will ask you for
details of your problem so that they can best
direct you for care.
THINK BEFORE YOU BOOK

the guidelines below to help you judge what appointment, if any, is required:

to your GP, the nurse practitioner or the practice pharmacist,
We encourage you to see the same doctor for on-going problems.
All patients, including children, are allocated a named, accountable GP,
referred to as your 'Usual GP'. If your
Usual GP is fully booked you can choose to wait until he or she is available
or have an appointment with another doctor or our
minor illness nurse.
|We send SMS text
message appointment reminders

text message reminders, please contact us.
When you arrive at the Health

in or report to the reception desk
We encourage patients to attend the surgery
whenever possible as there are more facilities available.
If you are too ill to come to the surgery a doctor may visit you at home.
Please telephone before 10am to request a home visit. The
reception staff will ask for details of the illness to allow the doctor to assess the urgency.
A doctor may telephone you to obtain more information and to establish whether a
home visit is required.
