Self care is about looking after yourself in a healthy way. It can be anything from doing some exercise, managing common conditions or minor ailments like headaches, coughs & colds and hay fever or managing a long-term health problem, such as asthma or diabetes.

Please take a look and encourage others to look here too. There is a huge pressure on GP appointments - the more individuals can manage their own health and wellbeing, the more GPs will be freed up to manage serious conditions promptly.
Domestic and Sexual Abuse
This is an IRIS practice - staff are trained about domestic abuse and specialist workers are available to support you.
You can talk to doctors, nurses and other staff working here if you are being hurt or controlled by your current or ex-partner, are afraid of someone at home or a member of your family.
You can also contact Next Link and ask to speak to the ‘IRIS Advocate Educator’ worker.

A free telephone and online information database for everyone in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath & North East Somerset, with information on around 5,000 health, wellbeing and community groups, organisations, activities and services, including personal health services, lunch clubs, social groups to help around the house, help with transport, advice, counselling or any other form of support, information for carers, support for particular disabilities, culturally specific services and more.
